Office Renovation
Renovating the FIEMN conference’s national office. This includes replacing the tin roof, fixing the bathroom, lighting, adding windows, painting, and more.
This amount is a small portion of the larger $80,000 project.
Project Amount: $10,000
Update - April 2025
From March 14-29, a total of 11 men and one woman from Canadian churches spent time beginning the deconstruction and preparation for the ongoing renovation. While a lot was accomplished in this time, one matter that we didn’t take into consideration was that the building itself was over 100 years old and had survived several earthquakes, so it was in desperate need of reinforcing the foundation and walls before we could even tackle removing the old leaky roof and installing new rafters and tin.
The team was able to bring along funds equalling about 1/3 of the cost of the entire project, generously provided by Project Builders and the BOM, but now it’s time to continue fundraising for the remaining $40,000.
This is needed to cover the expenses of the bricks and mortar, rafters and tin, rebar and concrete, as well as plumbing in two new bathrooms, new electrical throughout the building, a new concrete floor and tile, framing, drywall and paint, and finally outfitting the entire building with new desks, chairs and administrative equipment such as computers and printers.
Johel is hoping to complete the project with his own crew by the end of May, so these funds are needed as soon as possible.
